Oreo Marshmallow Cheesecake Jar recipe

HAPPY BIRTHDAY GRACE!

Last year, Sam and I baked her a blueberry cheesecake (post coming up soon!) This year, I decided to do her favorite oreo cheesecake but with a marshmallowy twist! (recipe adapted from Nutmeg Nanny and healthified)

INGREDIENTS :

Processed with VSCOcam with f2 preset

INGREDIENTS : 

for crust
6 Oreo Cookies
15 g of butter, melted
5 g of sugar (optional)

for cheesecake
6 large marshmallows
60 g of whole milk
60 g of cream cheese, room temperature
dash of vanilla extract

for topping
2 large marshmallows
1 Oreo Cookie

RECIPE :
for crust

CRUSH Oreos with food processor

ADD butter and sugar to Oreos and pulse

PRESS Oreo mixture into jar with spoon

for cheesecake

HEAT
marshmallows and milk in a skillet under low heat till marshmallows are melted

BEAT cream cheese and vanilla extract till fluffy

COMBINE and BEAT mixture for 3 minutes
POUR
into jar 

for topping

STUFF
marshmallows into jar
SPRINKLE
with crushed Oreos 
BLOWTORCH 
marshmallows

SERVE

THE RESULT?
The texture turned out pretty different from the regular oreo cheesecake because of the marshmallow + milk mixture! It added a marshmallowy fluffy,  sweeter and almost sticky texture to the creamcheese that tasted simply wonderful. The effort and time taken to do this isn’t great so I highly recommend this as a birthday treat! Know of any great jar recipes?
