An apple a day keeps the doctor away. I got myself two days MC due to a tonsil infection so instead of just lazing around at home, I decided to try out SORTED Food’s “Baked Apple Puff” recipe. Amazing stuff.

2 Bramley cooking apples
1 lemon, juiced
1 sheet of puff pastry (I made my own puff pastry!)
1 tsp cinnamon
2 tbsp brown sugar
1 egg, beaten
a splash of water
a handful of sultanas (I replaced this with raisins!)
This was ridiculously simple. Definitely something worth doing more often in the future! (Perhaps even variations of it!)
